oily-skinWhen you’re tired of experimenting with highly advertisedcosmetic products, to treat your oily skin condition, you might want to try out some homemade recipes.

If so, here are some wonderful homemade face packs, that are easy to make and still very effective in treating oily skin.

The papaya face pack for oily skin

Mash some papaya and rub it gently on your face skin. Papaya is rich in antioxidants and is known to have wonderful exfoliating properties, which will help your skin to get rid of excess oil, dirt and impurities. If you use this at least three to four times a week, you will be easily able to enjoy an oil freeglowing skin which is less susceptible to oily skin problems like pimples, blackheads and acne.

The garlic and lemon wonder face pack

I’ve used the word wonder in its name, because it gives you truly miraculous results. It can also serve as a quick fix, to get rid of stubborn pimples. Just make some garlic paste and squeeze one lemon into it, and it’s ready to be applied onto the face. Garlic has antimicrobial properties, and lemon helps in cutting down the oil levels. It does sting a little, but the overall outcome is definitely worth the discomfort.

Strawberry and brandy face pack

You’ll need some strawberries, a tablespoon of brandy, a little bit of bread crumbs, a teaspoon of rose water and 1tbsp. of fuller’s earth. Blend in everything except for the bread crumbs in a blender. Mix in the bread crumbs, and apply this face pack for about half an hour, and you’ll be happy to see your skin smooth and radiant. Although, this recipe does call for a lot of things and a bit of an effort, the way it reduces the excess oil from your skin, while adding a soft glow to it, is quite pleasing.

Orange Peels

This is the simplest one, and all you need is to grind some orange peels into a fine paste and apply it all over your face. It is quick and fairly effective in treating oily skin...link
